Easy Fruit Bar Recipe
Crust:
1 package sugar cookie mix (17 oz)
1/2 cup melted butter
1 egg
Topping:
1 cup strawberry jam
1-2 tablespoons lime (or lemon) juice
2/3 cup chopped almonds
Combine sugar cookie mix, melted butter, and egg in a bowl.
Stir until thoroughly mixed.
Press mixture to cover the bottom of a lightly greased 9×13 baking dish. In a bowl, stir jam and lime juice together.
Then spread this fruit mix over the crust.
Sprinkle chopped nuts on top.
Bake in a preheated 375° F oven for 30 to 35 minutes.
It will be done when its bubbling all over.
